SAPA-GP Song Li scholarship – 1st High school students business pitch competition

In honor of our long-term supporter, Dr. Song Li, Founder and CEO of Frontage Laboratories, SAPA-GP is thrilled to announce the 1st High school students business pitch competition under SAPA-GP Song Li scholarship at our upcoming 2025 annual conference. This exciting competition is open to current high school students who will create a product and present a business proposal to form a startup related to pharmaceutical science, life science, medical science, or biotechnology. Be creative and think outside the box!

Eligibility: Current high school students who are sponsored by current or former SAPA-GP volunteers and speakers; Competitors can participate individually or in teams of up to three students. All team members must contribute, participate, and speak during the presentation.

Submission Requirements: Please fill the forms below and submit a one-page business proposal (up to 500 words) that addresses the following:

  1. The company’s name and objectives
  2. The company’s mission
  3. Basic details (company location, senior management’s names and roles, founding date, logo, and slogan)
  4. A brief description of the product or service
  5. How you came up with the idea for your product/service
  6. The top three problems your product/service addresses

Timeline:

Onsite presentation format: Each competitor has 5 minutes presentation and up to 10 minutes of Q&A with sharks

Judges:

Awards:

  1. $1000 award for the winner
  2. $300 awards for runners-up (up to three)
  3. $100 awards for onsite presenters.
